Alfred State College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Capital Construction Administrator.

In this key role, you’ll work under the direction of the Director of Capital Construction to oversee procurement, contract administration, financial coordination, and administrative operations for construction and capital improvement projects across the SUNY system.

This position serves as a subject matter expert in construction procurement and contract administration, ensuring compliance with SUNY policies, New York State regulations, and MWBE/SDVOB requirements. You’ll play a critical role in managing the full project lifecycle—from planning and solicitation to contract ex*****on, financial oversight, and closeout—while collaborating with campus and system stakeholders.
