May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a reminder of something we should be talking about every day.
While mental health matters all year round, let’s use this month as a powerful opportunity to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and remind one another it’s okay not to be okay.
Use this time to check in on yourself and those around you. Share your story if you’re able. Listen without judgement. Encourage open conversations.
And remember, speaking up isn’t a weakness, it’s an act of strength.
Let this month be the start or continuation of making mental health a priority, this month and every month. 💛💛

National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (DDAM) is celebrated every March & seeks to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all facets of community life, as well as awareness of the barriers that people with disabilities still at times face in connecting to the communities in which they live. By shining a light on the challenges and successes of people with developmental disabilities, Developmental Disabilities Month encourages empathy, respect, and positive change. It’s a reminder that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued 🧡
