Focus Groups in ACTION 🎬 🥳

We have our first focus group in the new Studio space happening RIGHT NOW!! 👀

Students are listening in and taking notes while Dr. Shelly Freyn moderates the group and leads charge! Next week, the students will be taking charge and running their own focus group with other students as the subjects! 🥳👩‍🏫

We are headed home - so long Costa Rica, hello to classes tomorrow!

Our last full day in Costa Rica! Did some sightseeing at La Paz Waterfalls with more hiking, animals and, of course, waterfalls, then to Doka Coffee Plantation to see a larger production facility.

The Beans Bananas & Business crew traveled through La Fortuna at a Cacao Plantation and then to a Non-profit animal rescue to see the operations of each and enjoy some cool animals and chocolate fun.

Visiting LIFE Monteverde coffee farm, then La Fortuna and the Arenal Volcano and hot springs.

We are excited whenever we can bring one alumni back to campus. Well... today we were able to bring not one, not two, not three... but FOUR alumni back to campus!! 🥳😃💜💛

While we didn't originally plan to have an all female judging panel, we are blessed that we had the opportunity! 😄

Alfred University's College of Business had the pleasure of hosting our first ever Saxon Tank Business Pitch Competition with 4 alumni guest judges! 👏💼

We had 9 student groups competing today with over $2,000 in prize money given away today! 😃

Stay tuned for a detailed post about the competition, our student groups, prizes and more on Monday. We just wanted to give a quick shout out to our alumni judging panel and everyone else who helped make this event possible! 🥳👏

Finals Feast 2022 was a HUGE success!! 🥳🎉🍽

On December 5, 2022, Alfred University, in honor of its Founding Day in 1836, will launch its annual Day of Giving, during which all members of the AU community can come together to support today’s students.

For 1,836 minutes, we invite alumni, families, and friends to come together and make a gift to the Alfred Fund, which supports our most pressing needs, or to an area of the University for which they have passion. Every gift counts and, when combined with our full community of donors, the impact of every gift will be magnified.

The Alfred Fund, will have a $50,000 dollar for dollar match – meaning, every dollar given to the Alfred Fund will be matched by a generous matching donor. We also have a donor challenge; for every 50 donors, we will unlock an additional $1,000 gift up to $10,000!!!
