On Friday April 27, 2018 the Institute for Cultural Unity hosted their first Unity day alongside additional clubs, committees and programs! We hope to make a larger Unity day next year!
The Institute for Cultural Unity is a new approach to multicultural programs at Alfred University.
The Institute for Cultural Unity is a resource center with an educational philosophy that develops self-awareness and respect for others through the sharing of experiences and cultures. It is led by the leaders of student organizations that affiliate themselves with a cultural identity. The current clubs and organizations that form the Executive Committee of the Institute for Culture Unity are:

Please join us on Saturday, March 31st at 11:00a.m. in the Knight Club to discuss the status of the ICU clubs. Many of the ICU clubs don't have members and there is concern that several won't be around next year. If you are interested in being involved or offering suggestions on how to reorganize or save the ICU clubs, we welcome your constructive input. See you on Saturday. Food will be available at 10:00a.m.

Russell Lecture tonight dedicated to the memory of Dr. Vicki Eaklor
Reminder that tonight's Russell Lecture. "The Underground Railroad: Myths and Realities" will be delivered by one of the leading American historians of slavery, Dr. Edward Baptist of Cornell. The lecture will begin at 7:30 PM in Nevins Theater, PCC.
