Operating as usual
The 2024 Federal Small Business Conference set new heights in an opening General Session for the ages on November 20 in New Orleans, La. Over 6,200 attendees made the trip down to the Big Easy to engage in a week of collaboration and partnership and build the strong bonds needed to meet today’s challenges head on.
Nowhere was that commitment to partnership more evident than in the lineup of speakers for Wednesday’s Opening General Session, which was sponsored by our Titanium Sponsors.
Headlined by Jackie Robinson-Burnette, Associate Administrator, Small Business Administration (SBA), and a panel of the senior engineering leaders from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Air Force Civil Engineering, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, the session reaffirmed the criticality of small businesses to the nation’s federal A/E/C industry and set the commander’s intent loud and clear for greater partnership with small businesses at all levels.
