The American Baseball Coaches Association has some outstanding videos on their YouTube channel. I like this one A LOT! I see hitters at all levels load, stride, and put themselves into poor hitting positions. This coach from the Kansas City Royals does a great job of explaining this drill and why it is so important for all hitters.

📜 In accordance with 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝟮𝟵𝟵𝗙.𝟬𝟰, the legal authority and responsibility for conducting formal arson investigations and pursuing subsequent criminal charges rests with 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆-𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘀, rather than local firefighters.

⚠️ It is crucial that the public receives 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 regarding public safety protocols, legal jurisdictions, and the specific roles of our emergency response departments.

I have seen them both hit and... I don't know, it could go either way. The LEOs have some sluggers... but so does the FD.

The Hitting Yard isn't just a place to hit or throw balls.

It's a place for players, their friends, and their families to work, learn, improve, and grow together.

It is a place for the kid who went 0-for-June and needs a simple process to get confident at the plate. It is also the place for the successful player who wants to take his game to the next level. That's why we believe that growth as a player comes when you can bring Dad, Mom, brother, sister, cousin, a friend, or a teammate with you to help you get better together. Push each other, challenge each other, and grow.

At the Hitting Yard, you now get to bring a buddy with you to every session! Yes, really!

What does that mean for you?

Your membership now allows you to bring a buddy to every session and use the equipment. Maybe it is the same buddy but more likely it is a different buddy because they aren't available. Maybe it is just Dad or just your friend from summer camp who plays baseball and is in town for a few days. Maybe its your cousin from California who is up for Thanksgiving and you both want to go hit.

🚨 STOLEN BIKE — PLEASE SHARE! 🚨

We recently had a bike stolen from our bike rack, and there is a devastated 11-year-old who worked hard and saved his money to buy it.

The bike is a Trek Marlin 5, similar to the one pictured.

We’re hoping someone in the community may have seen it or knows where it ended up. If you have any information or have seen this bike around town, please send us a message.

We have THREE different kind of balls at the Hitting Yard!
14 and Under balls that are slightly softer.
15 and older high school level balls.
Kevlar flatseam pitching machine balls.

(PLUS, we do have dimpled pitching machine balls too!)

Use the right balls for the right training so you get the best result... and so others get the right stuff too!
