Aiken Virtual Program is a division of Rapides Parish School District. The program offers a non-traditional learning environment for those students who no longer wish to use the traditional bell-to-bell school. It is an option for those who want or need an alternative to the traditional setting, those who want to graduate early, and those who want a digital experience. The program currently serves students in grades 6-12. The teachers are certified RPSB instructors who are available to students every school day--both face-to-face and virtually. The program also offers academic counseling services and provides a variety of support systems for students and parents.
