Hi, my name is Erika and I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was an au pair myself a few years ago which has fostered my desire to become an LCC and help provide quality childcare for other families. I married my husband, Jeff, in 2011 and we have a son together. I studied Biology at Universidade Veiga de Almeida in Brazil. I have been self-employed in the childcare business for th

e past four years and have insight on what it takes to provide first-rate childcare. I love dancing, especially my native, Samba de gafieira, and I was an assistant instructor of this dance in Rio. I currently live in Alexandria, VA outside of Washington D.C. with my family. I love Skyping with my family in Brazil, going to the beach, enjoying the outdoors and of course, spending time with my baby boy.
