The Rapides Virtual Program and R.A.P.P.S. are our two programs that provide alternative education.

Every student in Rapides Parish eats breakfast and lunch at no cost. Keeping it that way takes just a few minutes of your time!

The Household Income Survey is a short, online form, and it does a lot of work behind the scenes. Your response helps us:

๐ŸŽ Maintain our Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), so every student continues to receive free breakfast and lunch, regardless of income.
๐Ÿ“š Access educational support services for students.
๐Ÿ’ป Bring in additional resources for classroom materials and technology.

Completing the form does not change what your child receives. It simply helps us show the accurate needs of our community. Thus, helping us provide more opportunities for students!

๐Ÿ  The McKinney-Vento program ensures that students experiencing homelessness have equal access to education, no matter where they're staying.

Whether a child is in a shelter, hotel, or staying with friends or family due to housing challenges, they have the right to stay in school. Schools provide immediate enrollment, transportation help, and the option to remain at their current school for stability.

A reminder for returning families: eligibility does not carry over from year to year, so families must reapply each school year to continue receiving services. Visit the link below to apply or learn more.
