RAPPS & RVP

Great things happen when educators come together with a shared purpose! Our teachers meet weekly in TCMs to share ideas, discuss student needs, strengthen instructional practices, and work together to support student success. 💙💚

Collaboration gives us the opportunity to learn from one another, celebrate what’s working, adjust what’s not working, and develop strategies that help our students thrive. 🤝

Together, we collaborate. Together, we grow. Together, we amplify the culture.

✨A BIG thank you to the Junior League of Alexandria for celebrating our staff on Find the Good Day! 💛

Thank you for providing lunch and, even more importantly, for taking the time to recognize the good at RAPPS. Your kindness truly meant so much to our team!

We’re proud to stand alongside JLA as we continue working together to make our community better, lift others up, and most importantly, Find the Good in the people and places around us.

🎨 Celebrating National Arts in Education Week! 🎨

This week, our students delved into the intriguing world of positive and negative space, proving that art truly knows no boundaries!

We also asked some of our budding artists about the role art plays in their lives, and their responses were as unique and vibrant as their imaginations. 💭🎨

🎵 Student A:
“I enjoy the art of music. It helps calm me down when I’m feeling overwhelmed.”

✏️ Student B:
“Drawing helps clear my mind. I like to just sit and draw. I’m able to express how I’m feeling through my drawings.”

🖌️ Student C:
“I like painting and coloring because it keeps me occupied. I like looking at the different colors. I also enjoy listening to music and dancing. It makes me happy.”

Art in education is about more than cultivating artistic skills, it’s about nurturing creativity, encouraging self-expression, supporting well-being, and inspiring a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

At RAPPS, we’re proud to create opportunities for our students to explore, express, and amplify their creativity! 🌟
