GESPA's final restaurant fundraiser of the school year is going to be sweet! 🍦🍨 Bring a friend, treat the family, and celebrate the end of an incredible school year with a scoop (or two!) while supporting GESPA: 25% of sales will be donated back to our Parents Association.

Fundraiser will take place at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in Old Town Alexandria on Wednesday, June 9, from 4:00–7:00 p.m.

The Musical Theater Club took us under the sea on Tuesday with a fin-tastic performance of Finding Nemo! 🐠 🌊 The students truly blew us out of the water with their hard work, confidence, and enthusiasm. From the singing and acting to the costumes and teamwork, everything came together swimmingly, and we could not be more proud of this talented cast! 🎭 ✨

If you missed our first performance, don’t worry, there’s still another chance to dive into the fun! All parents and friends are invited to join us for another performance at Grace on Monday morning, June 1, at 9:30 AM 🐢 🐙

Those of you who joined us for chapel this morning may have noticed a few students missing… 👀

Our 5th graders have been off on an unforgettable overnight field trip adventure! Beginning bright and early Thursday morning, students traveled to the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater, Maryland for hands-on learning about oysters, the Chesapeake Bay, and life on the water. From there, the group headed to Verdant View Farm in Paradise, PA, where students experienced farm life and made wonderful memories together.

The trip wrapped up today with laser tag, lunch, and outdoor fun at Black Rock Retreat, the perfect ending to an exciting few days of learning, laughter, and adventure.

This special trip was the perfect way to celebrate an amazing year at Grace, and the students’ upcoming graduation. One overnight trip, endless experiences, laughter, and memories made together ❤

Yesterday, our students were captivated by a special musical assembly with Imani Gonzalez 🎶 🪘

Through energetic call-and-response songs and storytelling, students sang along while learning music and traditions from Ghana, India, and the Cherokee people.

An internationally recognized jazz and world vocalist, Imani has performed with Wynton Marsalis at Lincoln Center Orchestra for eight consecutive years and her voice has been featured on National Geographic soundtracks, including the Emmy-nominated Jane Goodall: My Life with Chimpanzees.

We are so grateful she shared her incredible talents and love of music with our students ❤️

Surprise 🎂 ! Our teachers pulled off a sweet surprise lunch today to celebrate the incredible administrative team and all the hard work they do behind the scenes to keep Grace running smoothly.

We are so grateful for our outstanding teachers who make Grace such a joyful place to be 💫 🩷 Thank you, teachers!
