Giving Day ends at Noon! Help our Hospitality and Tourism Hokies secure some bonus funds!
VT's Giving Day ends Thursday (2/19) at noon! I’m proud to support the Feiertag Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Because of Giving Day donors, we’ve been able to send our master’s students to the VA1 Governor’s Tourism Conference, Hospitality on the Hill, career fairs, and key industry events across Northern Virginia. We’ve expanded corporate shadowing opportunities, welcomed industry leaders into our classrooms as guest lecturers, and connected students directly with professionals across hotels, destinations, events, and tourism organizations.
These are not “extras.” They are transformational, career-shaping experiences that build confidence, expand networks, and bridge classroom learning with industry practice for both our undergraduate and graduate students.
This year, we’re also in the running for bonus funds based on the number of unique donors — which means participation matters. Even $5 makes a difference. It’s not the size of the gift; it’s the number of people who show up to support our students.
If you’re willing, please consider making a $5 gift before Thursday 2/19 at noon:

Thank you for investing in the next generation of hospitality and tourism leaders.

Today is Virginia Tech Giving Day, and I’d be grateful for your support of our Hospitality & Tourism Management programs. Gifts help our students attend industry conferences and career fairs, bring in guest speakers, and create hands-on professional experiences that make a real difference in their careers.
We’re also in the running for bonus funds based on the number of unique donors, so every gift truly counts — even $5 makes an impact. If you’re able, please consider making a small contribution and helping us expand opportunities for our students. Thank you for supporting the next generation of hospitality leaders!
