I almost called us “new” the other day.

I was writing about Cowo & Crèche Kids and started to type “our new childcare program”… then I stopped because that no longer feels true.

We have been here on Eisenhower Ave in Alexandria long enough to have a rhythm now. Long enough to know which little ones need a few extra minutes in the morning.

Long enough to know which parents are exhaling on the way to work because they finally found a place that feels safe.

Long enough to understand that childcare is not just childcare.

It is trust. It is peace. It is a village.

It is knowing that your child is being loved, guided, prayed over, and seen. We are still growing. Still learning. Still becoming.

But we are not hiding behind “new” anymore.

We are steady now, and that matters.

So if you have been watching from a Facebook group, driving past Eisenhower Ave, or quietly wondering if Cowo & Crèche Kids may be the right fit for your child, come see us.

This week at Cowo & Crèche Kids, our little learners explored the letter O — O is for owl, oval, and obey. 🤍

As they learned, created, and practiced together, we reflected on our verse for the week: “Children, obey your parents in the Lord.” — Ephesians 6:1

One of the things we’re most proud of is being a small space on purpose. It allows us to offer thoughtful, individualized care and create meaningful moments like these with each child. There is something especially beautiful about knowing that for some of our families, mom was just feet away, able to be productive while her little one was learning, growing, and being cared for so intentionally.

We’re grateful for the joy, trust, and sweet rhythm of this community.

One thing about young children, if given the right environment - they’re going to have such a beautiful gratefulness & joy to be alive, to be having fun, to see the wonder in the little things.
