Franklinton High FFA

FHS and FJHS FFA competed at the State Contests today at LSU! All of our teams represented Franklinton High School well, and we are proud of everyone.

Congratulations to Jayden F. for winning 4th place in Electricity & FJHS Nursery/Landscape team for winning TOP MIDDLE! This is the first State CDE Banner for the middle school! The Franklinton Jr. Floriculture Team was also recognized as Top Middle in Area IV and received their banner!

Congratulations to FHS & FJHS FFA teams for participating and placing at the Area IV Career Development Events on Wednesday! A total of six high school teams placed in the top four. Franklinton Jr. High also won Top Middle School in two events. Our Poultry team and Vet Science team placed in the top 10 in their events! The following teams will be advancing to the FFA State Contest on March 25 at LSU.

Congratulations to our Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) State Finalists! They have placed in the top four in the state in their respective areas and will be interviewed on March 19 to determine their final placing! We will find out what they placed at State Convention in June!

National FFA Week dress out days start tomorrow.

We draw tomorrow , Monday Decwmber 15th 2025, for the two sides of beef. Get your tickets for $5 a piece now.

The drawing will be held on December 14th. If you’d like to purchase tickets, message Jeremy McKenzie — we accept various forms of payment.

We’ll be raffling off two full sides of beef, and processing fees are included.

Our ½-side of beef raffle has been extended to December 14th. We originally planned to hold the drawing in November, but the yearling will not be ready for processing until December.

Franklinton High and Jr. High FFA brought 14 members to Pine High School to compete in Parish LDEs. Of the 14, 11 will move on to the District Contest next Wednesday, November 12th.

Franklinton FFA is having a FFA roundup in the gym at Franklinton High School on Tuesday September 16th, 6-8pm. There will be food, games, and raffling off several items. We would love to see all ag students, parents, and friends in attendance.
