SewLab is a sewing education studio located in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia. Sewing classes for kids, teens, ages 7+. Preregistration.
Our goal is to provide a fun, creative and supportive learning environment for kids and teens, ages 7 and above, to learn how to sew. Instruction is tailored to meet the needs of each individual based on their current sewing level. Our specialty is launching beginner sewers and having fun. After six wonderful years of teaching kids, teens (and adults) to sew, I am moving on to another new adventure. Spring 2019 classes will be the last session at SewLab in Del Ray. SewLab is closing and I will be packing up my studio for a move to Philadelphia this summer. It has been a pleasure and honor to bring the joy of sewing to so many students in the DMV.
