Founded in 1949, Our Lady of Prompt Succor School (OLPS) is a Catholic school in Alexandria, Louisiana which serves students in grades Pre-School through 6th Grade. We have a dedicated staff,
wonderful students, and parents who value the Catholic education that we offer
and support the school with their time and talents. At OLPS, we enter to Learn and leave to Achieve. We offer a well-balanced curriculum with high academic standards. It is our goal
that each student will acquire the tools necessary to master the academic, social
and technological skills that are needed to become a productive citizen. In pursuit
of that goal, we place special emphasis on building strong foundations by
engaging students in the learning process. We believe in exposing our students to a variety of learning situations and subject areas. In addition to the traditional subjects, they explore music, art, technology,
physical education and Spanish language and culture. Each year, students in
Kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to participate in our school play. We also offer various sports at all grade levels.
