A HUGE thank you to our incredible Field Day Committee, PTA, administration, teachers, and staff for making these days such a success. Most importantly, thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who came out to support and assist throughout all three days. We could not do this without you! Our 2nd Grade MacArthur Stars for the past two weeks have had the exciting opportunity to participate in the Alexandria Soccer Association (ASA) PE Takeover Clinics.

ASA staff and coaches lead our 2nd Graders through school-day soccer clinics focused on fundamental soccer skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. As part of the Soccer IN School initiative, these experiences are designed to increase access to soccer while encouraging physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.

We are proud to celebrate our Assistant Principal, Mr. Paul George, for receiving the ACPS Anne R. Lipnick Award for Specialized Instruction (Administrator Category).

This annual recognition honors administrators, special education teachers, general education teachers, related service providers, instructional assistants, and support staff whose classroom and therapeutic practices exemplify excellence in specialized instruction and embody the spirit of true inclusion. Congratulations, Mr. George, on this well-deserved honor!

Our MacArthur Stars shined brightly at the Titan Classic Invitational held today - May 2, 2026, at ACHS Parker Gray Memorial Stadium! ✨

Competing in the ES 4x100 Relay, our two MacArthur teams earned 1st and 3rd place—what an amazing accomplishment! 🎉 We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and determination. Way to represent, MacArthur Stars! 🌟
