Today, we gave a BIG Rosenthal Montessori Wildcat welcome home to our Beta Club National Convention winners, Cordarius, Londyn, and Kylan!

Some of our school family celebrated their incredible accomplishments with banners, noise makers, confetti, congratulatory posters, and lots of Wildcat pride! We topped off the celebration with cake as we honored these outstanding students and their hard work, dedication, and success on the national stage.

We are so proud of Cordarius, Londyn, and Kylan for representing Rosenthal Montessori and our community with excellence. Congratulations on this amazing achievement!

And we can’t forget their amazing Beta Club sponsor, Mrs. Kelly, who made the trip to Nashville with them. Thank you for your dedication, encouragement, and support in helping our students reach this incredible milestone. Your leadership and commitment have made a lasting impact, and we are grateful for all you do!

If you haven’t heard the amazing news yet, our three Beta Club students who competed at Nationals Sunday and Monday are all walking away WINNERS! We are so proud of them!!!

This is made possible through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP); a federal program that allows high-need districts to provide free meals to all students without requiring individual applications.

On June 27, City of Alexandria voters will decide on two school funding renewals for District 62 schools.

✅ These are renewals, not new taxes.

Both keep current funding in place to support building maintenance, classroom and school technology, instructional supplies, and day-to-day facility needs for the 18 schools this taxing district serves.

This is a renewal, not a new tax.

Here's what this measure supports:
🚌 Fuel for our buses
💡 Utilities at every school
👩‍🏫 Salaries for the teachers and staff who serve our students
🏥 Hospitalization and insurance costs for our employees
🔧 Day-to-day building maintenance and facility needs

These are the everyday essentials that keep more than 21,000 students learning across our 42 schools. Renewing this measure keeps our current level of support in place. Nothing new is added to what our community already pays.
