Attention LSUA Campus,

LSUA internet services are down at this time. An unexpected power outage in the Shreveport area has caused a large internet infrastructure outage that is affecting us. We do not have an eta, but I will send out another update as soon as we hear more.

Please note that Moodle will be unavailable for a system upgrade starting Monday, December 19th at 11:00 PM CST until Tuesday, December 20th at 5:00 AM CST. In an effort to ensure compliance, system stability, and quality overall user experience, we are upgrading from Moodle 3.10 to Moodle 3.11. ‼REMINDER - Network Outage Tonight from 10PM - Midnight‼

IET will be performing core network upgrades. We are working to minimize any network downtime for the campus during these upgrades. However, please adjust your schedule accordingly.

On February 2nd at approximately 10:00 PM CST, all network services (Moodle, myLSUA, etc) will be offline while we upgrade the network equipment in Bo Nipper Technology Center. We expect to have all services back up and operational by Midnight.

For easy reference:

‼February 2nd: ALL SERVICES WILL BE OFFLINE. Moodle, Email, Self-Service, and myLSUA, etc will not be available.

➡ Bo Nipper: 10:00 PM CST-Midnight (All Services On and Off Campus will be unavailable.)

IET will be performing core network upgrades the week of January 31- February 4. We are working to minimize any network downtime for the campus during these upgrades. However, please adjust your schedule accordingly.

Abrams, Mulder, and the Library will need to be offline on February 1st. This outage will take place late in the afternoon to avoid any major disruptions. Access to Moodle may also be unavailable.

On February 2nd at approximately 10:00 PM CST, all network services (Moodle, myLSUA, etc) will be offline while we upgrade the network equipment in Bo Nipper Technology Center. We expect to have all services back up and operational by Midnight.

For easy reference:

📌February 1st: Moodle and other LSUA services WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE during these maintenance periods.

➡Mulder: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM CST (All services on-campus will be offline for Mulder, The Baseball Complex, LSUA Foundation will be offline)

➡Abrams: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM CST (All services on-campus will be offline for Abrams, Oakland, Chambers, and Coughlin will be offline)

➡Bolton Library: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM CST (All services on-campus will be offline or The Library, Avoyelles, Science, and the Utility Plant will be offline)
