Can you believe we are at the end of the school year? We have one final, incredibly important meeting tomorrow, and we need your voice and your vote.

Final PTA Meeting Details
When: Tomorrow, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 6:30 PM
Where: Groveton Elementary Cafeteria

What we are voting on:

August Teacher Welcome Breakfast: Approving the budget to kick off the next school year by showing our amazing teachers some love.

Chess Program: Voting on whether the PTA will officially support this program for our students.

🚨 Critical Update: We Need a PTA President for 2026-2027 🚨

As of right now, the position of PTA President remains unfilled for the upcoming school year.

We want to be entirely transparent with our community: If this position is not filled, the Groveton PTA will be unable to legally operate for the 2026-2027 school year.

Without an active PTA, we will unfortunately no longer be able to host, fund, or organize the programs that make Groveton so special for our kids and staff, including:

🍿 Monthly Attendance Popcorn Parties
🍁 Fall Festival
❄️ Blizzard Bingo
⚽ Soccer Nights
🌍 International Night
🎓 Decorations and refreshments at the 6th Grade Promotion
📝 Classroom Grants for Teachers
🍎 Teacher Appreciation Week
🥞 End of Quarter Teacher Breakfasts

What does the PTA President do? You don't have to do it alone—you will have a supportive board and community behind you! The primary responsibilities include:

-Leading our regular meetings.
-Coordinating directly with the school administration.
-Overseeing our annual projects and events.

Our community thrives when we step up together. If you are interested, have questions, or want to nominate someone who would be great for the role, please join us at the meeting tomorrow night or reply directly to this email.

✨ "You’re All That and a Bag of Chips!" ✨

We wrapped up our 90's themed Teacher Appreciation Week at Groveton Elementary with a final day that was truly da bomb! 💣💥

To celebrate our incredible staff, we set up the ultimate Wall of Chips, featuring everything from classic pretzels to Snoop Dogg's Rap Snacks (keeping it strictly on-brand for our 90s vibes! 🎤🎧).

But we didn't stop there! To keep the energy high during the hustle of testing season, we surprised the team with:

🍕 Fresh, hot pizza from Paisano's

🍬 A sweet variety of candy

🥤 Refreshing sodas

The PTA is so honored to bring a little joy and a lot of snacks to our hardworking educators. We know testing season can be a grind, and we truly appreciate everything you do to help our students learn, grow, and shine every single day. 🌟

🎶 When I dip, you dip, we dip! 🎶

It’s Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week, and we are throwing it back to the 90s while filling our plates! Today’s theme was all about the "dip," and let’s just say our taste buds are still doing the running man. 🏃‍♂️💨

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible Groveton Elementary families for providing what many of our staff call the "Best Day of the Year." This lunch has become a legendary tradition, and today certainly lived up to the hype! 🏆

Our staff was treated to an absolute feast, including:

🫓 Fresh, warm Pupusas
🍌 Sweet Plantain
🥗 Refreshing Salads
🍗 Savory Peruvian Chicken..and so much more!

We are so lucky to be part of a community that supports us with such flavor and love. Our bellies are full, and our hearts are even fuller! ❤️

🥢 Day 3: Wok-Tang Clan: Lo Mein Forever 🥢

We are keeping the 90s vibes going strong for Teacher Appreciation Week! Yesterday at Groveton Elementary, the theme was "Wok-Tang Clan: Lo Mein Forever," and the spread was definitely "bringin' the ruckus" in the best way possible. 🥡🔥

A massive shout-out to Taste of Asia for providing an incredible Chinese buffet for our hardworking teachers and staff. They were an absolute dream to work with—supplying everything from the plates and forks to the napkins and even fortune cookies for the whole crew!

Day 2 of Teacher Appreciation Week = Saved by the Sweets! 🍭📚

We kept the 90’s vibes going strong today with a sugar-filled throwback inspired by Saved by the Bell! Our amazing teachers and staff were treated to a fun mix of drinks, candy, and baked goodies—because nothing says “thank you” like a well-stocked snack table.

A HUGE shoutout to our incredible Groveton Elementary families for donating all the delicious treats and helping make today so special. Your generosity truly makes a difference! 💙

I didn’t manage to grab a photo of the full setup (I was busy delivering goodies across three locations!), but here’s a peek at just part of the fun—fridges full of drinks and a car packed with sweets ready to go! 🚗🥤🍪

🍎 Teacher Appreciation Week is... DA BOMB! 💣

Today was Day 1 at Groveton Elementary, and we’re taking it back to the 90s to celebrate our "All-Star" staff! 👟🌈

The PTA kicked off the week by fueling our favorites with a massive breakfast spread and a coffee bar that’s definitely "all that and a bag of chips." Thanks to your generous donations, we were also able to transform the main teachers' lounge into the ultimate 90s throwback retreat! 📼✨
