The LSUA Staff Senate would like to thank everyone who attended our Annual Staff Senate Luncheon and helped make it a wonderful event.

A special thank you to Dr. Paul Coreil and Mrs. Coreil for taking time out of their busy schedules to join us. We were honored to have them as our special guests and greatly appreciate their continued support of the LSUA staff.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the LSU of Alexandria Police Department for partnering with us in the presentation of gifts and helping to make the luncheon even more special.

Events like these remind us of the importance of coming together, celebrating one another, and strengthening our LSUA campus community.

LSU System President Wade Rousse has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Beard, Ph.D., as the next Chancellor of Louisiana State University of Alexandria, following a national search to identify the university’s new leader.

Beard currently serves as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at LSUA and brings more than two decades of leadership experience in higher education.

The LSUA community looks forward to her leadership as the university continues its growth and commitment to student success.
