Congratulations to the BI Cheer team for a big weekend at the Christian Cheerleaders of America (CCA) National Championships! BI's Georgia Grace Ruhlen won the CCA Tumbling National Championship and the team is coming home as GameTime National Champions and Traditional Varsity Cheer Music Tumbling National Runner-Ups (Silver). Congratulations!

We had a wonderful Accepted Students Prayer Service on Wednesday evening led by our chaplain Father Noah Morey. We welcomed more than 500 people! We’re so excited to have the newest Cardinals on campus in the fall.
Congratulations to (L-R) Jacob Tampio '26, Patrick Christmas '26, Adam Tampio '26 and Nicole Lewis '26 who won 1st place (!) this past weekend in the 4th Annual Business Model Design Competition for High School Students, which is part of the Annual Business Awareness Initiative hosted by Marymount University's College of Business Innovation Leadership & Technology Department. Well done to these amazing students and to the dozens of other BI students who competed!
Bishop Ireton is excited to announce the hiring of four new varsity coaches to the Bishop Ireton Athletic program. The Cardinals welcome Paul Oeur (pictured left) who will lead the girls volleyball team, Betty Sixsmith who will lead the girls field hockey program, Tom Noone, returning as the girls tennis varsity head coach after a year away, and Tanner Jones (pictured right) who will head the brand new varsity girls ice hockey team. Congratulations to the new coaches. We look forward to their success in leading their respective programs!

We recognized our senior cheerleader at the end of last week as she gets ready to wrap up her season and time with BI Cheer. Next stop, Nationals! The team will look to bring home another big win!
On Friday, we sent acceptances for the 2025-2026 school year and welcomed our newest Cardinals to the BI family. We can't wait to see them in Cardinal red on Cambridge Road in the fall!
