Today we celebrate MSA senior Jojo Barber and the resilience, passion, and determination that have shaped her journey at MSA.

Jojo joined the MSA community at 10 years old after instantly falling in love with dance and the supportive environment she found here. After facing two major injuries that kept her away from performing, she continued growing through Musical Theater Workshop, developing her skills in acting, vocals, and stage presence while staying connected to the arts she loves.

Returning to dance, Jojo earned her first role in Utopia and continued building lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories at MSA.

This fall, Jojo will attend Point Park University in Pittsburgh to pursue a BFA in Performance in Creative Industries (PCI).

Congratulations, Jojo! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all that’s ahead.
