Cenla Driving academy is looking for a motivated teacher to teach the classroom portion of our program. Our adult class is held every other Saturday from 8-2. Our high school class is held 4 days in a row once a month. Please send me a message if you are interested and more details being provided. Thank you!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Because of the social distancing limitations, we will have to split up our May 26th class. The split will be as stated below based on the first letter of your last name:

A-M - May 26, 27, 28, 29

N-Z - June 1, 2, 3, 4

We will call everyone over the next couple of days to confirm your availability. Please be patient with us as we work through these hurdles. Once again thank y’all for your continued support!

UPDATE!!!!

The OMV has notified us that the temporary instruction Permit will be required to take the final exam and do the driving portion of the class. If you DO NOT have your TIP, we encourage you to go ahead and enroll and we will address the TIP later. Classes are filling up and we have limited seating so I don’t want anyone left out.

The school enrollment form will not be needed at this time so don’t worry about that. Thank you!!!

After two days of planning, coordinating, and making tons of phone calls we are extremely excited to get rolling on Monday! Huge shoutout to Belinda Guillory for getting our business back on track and making sure we continue to provide excellent service to our beloved community! I’m excited for Monday!

I know everyone wants to know if they will need a TIP before taking the class. We have not received an answer for this yet. Once I know- I will update everyone.

My suggestion is to go ahead and enroll and we will address before taking the class.

Also...we are very busy trying to reschedule existing appointments so please be patient with us. Thank you!!

ATTENTION!!

Students who were enrolled in our March 14th class that did not finish the last two days of classroom instruction will make up those days as listed below based on the first letter of your last name:

A-G - your make up days are Monday May 18 and Tuesday May 19.

J-Z - your make up day’s are Wednesday May 20 and Thursday May 21.

You are required to wear a mask. We will be distanced at a minimum of 6 feet apart. We will take all necessary safety precautions. If you are unable to attend your assigned date- please email us at [email protected]. We will also be calling you to confirm. Thank you!

Well, we finally received great news!!!

We will be opening up on Monday May 18! With that being said, please allow us a few days to schedule our students who were previously scheduled either for driving lessons or halfway through a class. If you fall into one of these categories..we will call you in the next couple of days to reschedule.

If you are a new student wanting to take a 38 hour class...feel free to register and pay through our website www.drivecenla.com.

If you are wanting a Road skills Test administered or wanting a 14 hour course, please wait until we are ready to schedule this service. It won't be long but I want to make sure we take care of those students who are in the process of a course and uphold our obligation.
