What an amazing first day of school! 💚 Our students returned ready to learn, grow, and make new memories. It was wonderful seeing our classrooms filled with smiling faces, excitement, and Bulldog pride! 🐾

We are looking forward to a school year filled with learning, growth, achievement, and unforgettable moments. Thank you to our families, faculty, and staff for helping make the first day a success.

We are VERY excited to introduce our NEW Acadian Basketball Team!

💚 WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
🏀 1st–5th Grade Boys & Girls

Our basketball team will be CO-ED, giving both boys AND girls the opportunity to hit the court, develop their skills, learn teamwork, and proudly represent Acadian! 🐾

Because we are expecting a lot of students to be interested, tryouts will be required to select the team.

We are also excited to welcome back Girls on the Run!

💕 WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
🏃🏾‍♀️ Girls in 3rd–5th Grade

Girls on the Run provides our girls with an opportunity to build confidence, teamwork, healthy habits, and positive relationships while staying active and having fun!

⏰ REGISTRATION DEADLINE: AUGUST 21ST
All registration forms must be turned in by August 21st. Forms received after the deadline will NOT be accepted!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!

🏫📚 We are excited to welcome our students and families back for another amazing school year at Acadian Elementary School!

Join us for Open House on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, visit classrooms, learn about school programs, and prepare for a successful year ahead.

We look forward to partnering with our families as we continue by to inspire learning, encourage growth, and build a strong school community.

🍎 Attention Acadian Elementary Kindergarten Families! 🐾

To help our newest Bulldogs have a smooth and successful transition into school, Kindergarten will follow a staggered entry schedule for the first week.

🗓 August 7 & August 10
Parent Meeting / Kindergarten Team Meeting
Families will receive important information, meet the kindergarten team, and prepare for a successful start to the school year.

🩷 August 11 – Group A (Girls) Attend
💙 August 12 – Group B (Boys) Attend
🎉 August 13 – All Kindergarten Students Attend

This staggered schedule allows our teachers to provide each child with extra attention as they become familiar with their new classroom, routines, and school environment.

We are excited to welcome our newest Bulldogs and look forward to an amazing year of learning, growth, and success! 💚🐾

To help ensure a smooth and successful start to the school year, Acadian Elementary will follow a staggered attendance schedule for the first few days of school.

🗓 August 7: 2nd & 4th Grades Report
🗓 August 10: 1st, 3rd & 5th Grades Report
🗓 August 11: All Students Report

Please review the schedule carefully and make plans for your child’s assigned attendance date. We are excited to welcome our Bulldogs back for an amazing school year filled with learning, growth, and success!
