On June 27, 2026, Alexandria residents will have the opportunity to vote on the renewal of school funding that supports students, teachers, and schools throughout District 62.

These propositions are renewals, not new taxes, and help provide essential resources such as:

✅ Building maintenance and facility improvements
✅ Classroom materials and instructional supplies
✅ Technology maintenance and upgrades
✅ Day-to-day operational needs that support student success

Strong schools create strong communities. By staying informed and participating in the voting process, we can continue supporting safe, effective, and well-equipped learning environments for our students.

🔬✨ STEM Summer Camp 2026 ✨🔬

We are excited to offer an engaging STEM Summer Camp experience for students! This hands-on program will inspire young minds to explore the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through exciting activities, problem-solving challenges, and interactive learning opportunities.

Students will have the chance to:
✅ Explore real-world STEM concepts
✅ Develop critical thinking and creativity
✅ Participate in hands-on experiments and projects
✅ Build teamwork and leadership skills
✅ Have fun while learning in a supportive environment

🍎 Lunch and snacks will be provided.

📅 June 15–18, 2026 (Grades 1–3)
📅 June 22–25, 2026 (Grades 4–5)
⏰ 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

💰 Each camper will receive a $350 stipend.

Space is limited, so families are encouraged to register as soon as possible!

Field Day was filled with laughter, energy, teamwork, and unforgettable memories for our students! From the bounce houses to basketball and fun activities, it was amazing seeing our students smiling, playing, and enjoying every moment together. ☀️🎉

Whether your child is just starting to sound out words or already working on chapter books, summer reading is one of the best ways to keep minds sharp and prevent the "summer slide." Plus, the library offers great prizes! 🏆
