On April 23, there will be a BQA Certification Event from 6-8 PM in Evangeline Parish. The event will feature live demonstrations, and a meal will be served. There is no cost to get the certification or attend the meeting.

The Acadia Parish 4‑H Horse Club is excited to host the 3rd Annual Acadiana Open 4‑H Horse Show on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at the Acadia Parish Rice Arena in Crowley, LA! This show is open to all 4‑H members from any parish (13 & under, 14 & over).

Registration:
• Opens April 1, 2026 through 4HOnline: https://v2.4honline.com/
• Closes June 24, 2026
• $16 per event (Breakaway & Tie Down Roping +$20)
• Pre‑registration only — no day‑of entries or payments
• Payments accepted only through Square (no cash/checks)

Participant Requirements:
• Must be an approved 4‑H member in 4HOnline
• Must provide their own horse
• Must complete all registration steps and payment before the deadline

Show Day:
• Check‑in: 9:00–9:45 AM
• Show starts: 10:00 AM
• Awards follow the final event
• Top 5 in each event receive awards; event champions earn buckles

Events: breakaway roping, tie down roping, boys goat tying, girls goat tying, barrel racing, flag racing, stake racing, pole bending.

Draw sheets will be posted on the Acadia Parish 4‑H page and emailed to fully registered participants once finalized.
