TC Williams football legend Petey Jones has died | WTOP Jones, who retired last fall, had worked as a school security officer for the district. In high school, he was a fullback on T.C. Williams’ 1971 team, whose championship run was dramatized in the 2000 Disney film “Remember the Titans.”

Bill Yoast, 'Remember The Titans' Football Coach, Dies Bill Yoast and head coach Herman Boone led T.C. Williams football to win the state championship in 1971. Yoast died May 23.
