Our ACDS Cross Country Tigers have spent the last two weekends competing at Highland Road Park, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they represented Country Day! 🐯

From strong finishes and personal bests to teammates cheering each other on, these Tigers continue to show what hard work and determination look like. 💪

Today marked our final meet in Baton Rouge, so we’re looking back at some of our favorite moments from BOTH weekends!

Way to run, Tigers! 💙💛🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Mrs. Neal and Ms. Madison’s PreK4 classes wrapped up their dinosaur unit by becoming paleontologists for the day! Their little scientists excavated chocolate chip “fossils” from their cookie dig sites, then counted and recorded their findings. 📊🦖🔎

Digging, discovering, and counting their way through one last prehistoric adventure! 🍪🦴💙💛

🌟STUDENT OF THE WEEK🌟

Congratulations to 8th grader Amari Gipson!💙💛🐯

Amari is a hardworking student who loves learning and brings a positive attitude to the classroom each day. Her kindness, respect, and great sportsmanship shine both in the classroom and on the field. She is always willing to lend a helping hand even during morning carpool!

Amari is a wonderful example of what it means to be an ACDS Tiger. 🐯 We are so proud of the example you set for our school community!

Way to go, Amari! Keep shining! 💙💛

Congratulations to our lucky winners who donated to the Country Day Fund and earned the ultimate carpool perk—skipping the line! 🎉

You can pick up your skip-the-line tags in the front office from Mrs. Lindsay.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Country Day Fund and helped make a difference for our students! 🐯❤️

3rd Grade Triorama Projects! 🏘️📚

Our 3rd graders wrapped up their communities unit by creating their own Trioramas featuring the three types of communities they learned about!

They even got to work with the other 3rd grade class on their projects! They did an amazing job, got creative, and had so much fun bringing their learning to life! 💙💛🐯
