Under the direction of welding instructor, Mr. Kelly Montgomery, welding students at the Alexandria Campus designed and built a custom welding site simulator to gain hands-on, real-world experience. By navigating uneven pipe heights and cramped fittings, students learn to weld from awkward angles - sitting, crouching, and lying down - preparing them for the unpredictable environments of the field.

Great insights from the Plenary Session panel, “Day One, Year Five, Year Fifteen, and the Corner Office: Leadership at Every Season.”

Chancellor Heather Poole joined Chancellor Neil Aspinwall (SOWELA), Chancellor Quintin Taylor (River Parishes Community College), and LCTC President Richard Nelson for a compelling discussion moderated by Dr. Janet Pilcher, Founder of Studer Education.
