- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must speak English (not perfect but be able to communicate)
I am seeking a motivated individual to assist our small team with our daily tasks. This person should be willing to learn, receive instructions and guidance. Someone who is very patient and loves working with children. Here, we help guide our children through their emotions by giving them positive behavioral guidance. Part of doing this is being respectful to their feelings and maintaining a positive attitude while working proactively with them. And very importantly, I need to be able to rely on this person.
Some responsibilities include:
- Teaching children good manners through examples

- Washing their hands
- Serving meals
- Maintaining areas clean
- Reading stories

CDC Reports That Kids Spreads COVID-19 to Their Families
With Early Childhood Education centers slowly beginning to allow children to return to in-person classes, many parents are concerned about their child’s and the rest of the family’s health and safety. Many want to know if their children are at risk of contracting COVID-19 while at school.
Here’s what experts currently know.
Yes, children can get COVID-19
This is according to what Dr. Lisa Gwynn, an associate professor of clinical pediatrics and public health sciences at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, had said.
However, the infection rates are very low in children, said Brian Labus, Ph.D., MPH, an assistant professor in the School of Public Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
They can transmit COVID-19 to adults
Dr. Gwyn said that ages 10 and older are especially able to transmit the illness to the adults around them.
And while there’s still much left to investigate regarding children under 10, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report last September 18 stating that younger children can transmit COVID-19 to adults as well.
Protecting Kids as They Return to School
As a provider of quality services for early Child Development in Virginia, we urge parents to do the following for their children:
- Check-in with them daily and take note of symptoms of illness like cough, fever, or vomiting
- Inform your children about the necessary safety protocols set by the CDC
- Making sure your child is updated when it comes to vaccines
- Follow up with the school on their COVID-19 action plan
