Last weekend we competed at Chesapeakes district championship in Petersburg, Virginia. Throughout the competition we had a record of 8-6. On Sunday going into alliance selection we were seeded 9th out of 54 teams and were able to become the captain of alliance seven! Thank you so much to and for joining us as our alliance partners! It was so much fun to work with you! We would also like to thank our season sponsor which without none of this would be possible. Thank you so much for your continuous support of our team! Through our hard work this season we were able to secure our spot at the world championship in Houston! As the next two weeks fly by as we prepare for worlds we remain so thankful to all the people who have helped us get this far, including all of our mentors, families, and sponsors. Thank you! We will see you in Houston!

FIRST World Championship
April 29 - May 2
Houston, TX
Based on how we performed across the season, we’ve earned enough points to qualify for the World Championship in Houston. That’s not something we take lightly—it means we’ll be competing alongside roughly 600 of the best teams from around the world.
Worlds is a different kind of event. Yes, the level of competition is as high as it gets, but it’s also one of the most rewarding experiences our students get all year. Beyond the matches, there’s a lot to take in—teams from different countries, different approaches to the game, and a chance to see what the very best programs are doing.
There’s also the Innovation Fair, where companies, universities, and organizations showcase new technology and opportunities, along with conference sessions that give students exposure to real-world engineering paths. It’s a chance to learn as much as it is to compete.
For our team, it’s an opportunity to test ourselves, represent our community on a bigger stage, and give our students an experience they won’t forget.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Getting to Houston is a big opportunity—but it also comes with real costs. Our students, families, and mentors cover a large portion of the trip themselves, but there are still some specific needs where support would make a direct impact:
$500 – New batteries
To make sure we’re running the robot at full performance throughout the event DONATED!!!
$600 per evening for team dinners ($2,400 total)
A chance for the team to regroup, recharge, and enjoy time together after long competition days
$1,600 – Fuel costs
For transporting the robot and equipment to Houston and back
$400 – Travel expenses for the drive team/crew
Covering food and lodging for those transporting the robot
If you’re in a position to help, we’d truly appreciate it. Every bit of support goes directly toward giving our students the best possible experience at the World Championship.
Thank you for being part of what makes this team possible.

We had a great competition this weekend in Bethesda, Maryland. We ended the day on Saturday in fourth place and ended our qualification matches in third. We became the first pick of alliance 1 and were able to pull out a clean win through the upper bracket and into two final matches! Thank you so much to for picking for their alliance and also our other two alliance partners and team 2914 for helping us make this win possible! And finally a huge shout out to our season sponsor for helping us make this season possible!
