Also, we are meeting with Dr. Bonitatibus during lunch on Thursday. We will be discussing FCPS wide issues such as mental health, but we will also talk about TJ specific issues, such as the TJ website and perhaps bringing back telelearn days. TJ SAC
The Student Advisory provides insight on pressing issues in FCPS, that are discussed in monthly meetings with the Superintendent and other SACs in FCPS.
This page will act as forum for us to connect to you guys, the students of Thomas Jefferson, about the issues our student council is trying to address. We will have constant updates about the topics being discussed in our monthly meetings and we will be seeking your opinions so we know what to address and focus on. The TJ SAC representatives for 2016-2017 are Anshu Sharma, Kirubel Aklilu, Chris Cao, Louise Hicks, and Reilly McLaren.
As mental health is such an important issue, FCPS administration also wants to hear your take on mental health. If you want to express your thoughts or opinions, consider submitting to FCPS Student Voice, a new campaign launched to learn the concerns and issues of students. All submissions are viewed directly by the school board, and this is a great chance to get your voice heard.

We also reviewed the Fairfax County Youth Survey, comparing data from TJ students to the rest of the county (for example, sleep).
