Open House, Open Hearts. 🏫💕

Yesterday, our classrooms and halls were filled with the joy and excitement of a new school year. Seeing all your smiling faces was truly a blessing and a beautiful beginning to the year ahead! We loved welcoming back familiar faces and meeting the new families joining our Life Christian Preschool community. Thank you for coming to our Meet the Teacher Open House. We are truly blessed with such an incredible preschool community.

We’ve been busy planning, preparing, and getting their classrooms ready for a wonderful new school year.

We look forward to welcoming our enrolled students and families at Open House this Thursday! Come explore your classroom, reconnect with friends, meet new ones, and enjoy time together as we welcome new families into the LCP community. We’re so excited to begin the year together!

🐦 Meet the Teachers — Songbirds Class! 🐦

We’re especially excited to introduce Mrs. Loukeya Hensley, the newest teacher to join the LCP teaching team! Mrs. Hensley is no stranger to LCP — she has been part of our preschool family as a parent, substitute, and resource teacher, and we are thrilled to welcome her into her new role as our Songbirds Lead Teacher!

🌷 Mrs. Hensley — Lead Teacher
Mrs. Hensley is a military wife and mom of three who has a heart for teaching young children. She loves creating a classroom where children feel safe, loved, confident, and excited to learn as they prepare for kindergarten.

🌎 Ms. Portillo — Assistant Teacher
Ms. Portillo brings 10 years of preschool teaching experience and loves working with 4-year-olds. Originally from El Salvador, she is fluent in Spanish and enjoys incorporating Spanish into the classroom.

💛 Together, Mrs. Hensley and Ms. Portillo are looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, growing in faith, and helping our Songbirds get ready to spread their wings!

🦋 Meet the Teachers — Butterflies Class! 🦋

Meet Mrs. Randolph and Mrs. Burgos, our wonderful Butterflies Pre-K 4 teaching team! Our butterflies will be getting ready this year to spread their wings in Kindergarten!

🌸 Mrs. Sharon Randolph brings more than 39 years of teaching experience and a love for helping young children learn, grow, and get creative.

🌼 Mrs. Erika Burgos has worked with children since 1997 and is celebrating 10 years with our preschool! Originally from Honduras, she is bilingual in Spanish and English and has a heart for children’s ministry.

💛 We are so grateful for the experience, warmth, and joy Mrs. Randolph and Mrs. Burgos bring to our Butterflies each day!

We’re excited for you to meet the teachers of our Owls Class! 🦉💚 Our Owls are eager and growing 3-year-olds, learning more about themselves and the world around them each day.

✨ Mrs. Fabiana Bouharb “Ms. Boo” – Lead Teacher brings over 10 years of experience and an unmatched passion for teaching. She loves watching her students learn, grow, and gain confidence.

🌟 Mrs. Maria Abatte – Assistant Teacher brings an incredible 19 years of preschool experience and a genuine love for working with children. She enjoys creativity, learning, and finding joy in each day.

We’re so grateful for the experience, warmth, and encouragement Ms. Boo and Mrs. Abatte bring to our Owls as they learn, explore, and grow together this year! 💚🦉

We’re excited for you to meet the teachers of our Dolphins Class! 🐬💙 Our Dolphins are our energetic and curious 3-year-olds, growing in independence and confidence each day.
✨ Mrs. Sara King – Lead Teacher has led our Dolphins for the past 8 years. She loves helping each child find ways to grow and succeed.
🌟 Ms. Guisela Vargas – Assistant Teacher brings years of childcare experience and loves the joy and enthusiasm young children bring to the classroom.

We’re so grateful our Dolphins have two caring and experienced teachers helping make this important year one filled with learning, encouragement and fun! 💙🐬

We’re excited for you to ‘Meet the Teachers’ of our Lambs Class! 🐑💛 Our Lambs are our youngest preschoolers, ages 2½–3, and we’re so grateful they get to begin their very first preschool journey with these wonderful teachers by their side.

✨ Ms. Ana – Lead Teacher brings warmth, care, and encouragement to our littlest learners as they grow in confidence and independence.

🌟 Ms. Sophie – Assistant Teacher helps make the classroom a joyful and nurturing place where our Lambs can learn, play, and discover something new each day.

We understand starting preschool is a big milestone and our Lambs will be surrounded each day by the care, patience and encouragement they need to feel safe, confident and loved.
