It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything here, but we wanted to honor a dear student that passed away suddenly last week, Michael Laborde. Michael began at MMI in 2018, and he was still an active MMI student. He took more lessons and played more shows than anyone we’ve ever had, and he was a joy to teach. The guys loved working with him during those shows and rehearsals, and he always brought a crowd of loved ones to watch him perform. Inside the lesson room, a teacher could not ask for more from a student. He was teachable, respectful, hard working, and showed great perseverance. His family was always incredibly encouraging and supportive to both Michael and us, and they are in our prayers daily. Even in our trials, may we be reminded of God’s goodness and grace… that He has given us hope for salvation through faith in Christ.
