STATE CONVENTION RECAP!!!

We had 20 members attend the 97th Minnesota FFA State Convention.

⚡️6 teams competed on Monday, including Ag Tech & Mech(Derek), Soils(Avery, Aubrey, Eli, and Summer), Meats Judging(Evyn and Koltyn), Floriculture(Abby, Leah, and Nicole), Farm Business Management(Drew, Tyler, Sullivan, and James), and Livestock Evaluation(Keyarra, Lacey, Cora, and Jaylyn). Lacey also placed 5th individually in Livestock evaluation with the team placing 12th.

⚡️Additionally, Leah, Carson, Cora, Lacey, Cole and Nicole received their State Degree. This is the highest honor that the MN FFA can bestow upon a member.

⚡️Finally, we cheered on Alexandria FFA Alumni and former Ag teacher, Bernie Van Zomeren, as he was inducted into the 2026 MN FFA Hall of Fame!
Bernie’s lifelong commitment to opportunity, mentorship, and agricultural education continues to leave a lasting impact on students, educators, and the Alexandria community.
