May 11, 2020 changed our lives forever. Five years on, there’s so much that each of us could say (and have already said) about this anniversary and its impact on our whole family. But, the most important one might be this: CPR saves lives. Without it, none of the last five years would have been possible. If you’ve ever thought about getting certified, make now the time. This is knowledge that can and will keep people alive. Check out the American Heart Association to find a CPR/AED course near you. The American Heart Association published a memo on 03/13/20 regarding an extension on AHA renewals. This consideration is in light of COVID-19.

Summary:
The AHA recommends a 60 day extension on all AHA renewal certifications however your employer or governing body has the final word.
