Bishop Ireton Music Boosters

Congratulations to our three musicians who successfully auditioned to be onstage performers at the 25th Annual Cappies Gala, held June 2 at the Kennedy Center! Bishop Ireton was well represented in the Gala Orchestra and Cappies Singers among the program’s 40+ participating schools.

It’s time to bid farewell to BI’s Class of 2025 and we pray for each of our graduating musicians as they leave Cambridge Road for their bright futures ahead.

Also, thank you to the underclassmen of our Wind Ensemble and Choir who performed at the Baccalaureate Mass on Thursday night. What a beautiful and special send-off 🎶

Remember that BI’s 2 final music concerts of the year are happening this week - and everyone is invited! Wednesday is the Spring Concert for Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Concert Band - Then on Thursday, Choir, Strings, and Guitars take the Garwood Whaley stage. Our Graduating Seniors will be recognized at each event. Please be sure to join us!

Be sure to check out BI's excellent spring musical, Guys & Dolls, where you'll see quite a few familiar faces of our vocalists and instrumentalists: on-stage, behind the scenes, and in the orchestra pit! The Jazz Band provided beautiful music at BI's 60th Anniversary Gala last weekend - Great job supporting the school!

February is filled with music for BI students! Well done to our Choir members selected for the 2025 District 10 All-District Choir who performed at a special concert with the group this past weekend.

A good time was had by all at this year’s All-District Band concert that was held this past Saturday at Hayfield Secondary School! Congratulations to our BI musician representatives, including 3 Seniors performing at their final Districts.
