A reflection from our principal: Today, Christine and I had the opportunity to visit the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. It is impossible to walk through that site without feeling the weight of history and the sacrifice of so many Americans. Visiting the USS Arizona Memorial was a powerful reminder of the courage, service, and resilience that define our nation. In addition to the memorial, we received an unexpected surprise. As we were leaving, we noticed an aircraft carrier with sailors manning the rails. A gentleman behind me told his son it was the USS Theodore Roosevelt coming into port. I remembered a conversation I had earlier this week with alumna Olivia DeRosa. She mentioned that her son Mikey was leaving San Diego and heading to Hawaii aboard a Navy ship. At the time, I wasn’t sure which ship he would be on, so I sent her a text. She quickly replied that he was aboard the Roosevelt. We stood and watched as the carrier entered port. We took pictures and sent them back to Olivia in Louisiana, then FaceTimed with her so she could watch the ship arrive in Hawaii in real time. Of all the experiences we have enjoyed in Hawaii, this was one of the most meaningful. Standing at Pearl Harbor, surrounded by the history of those who served before, and then watching a new generation of sailors arrive, brought everything full circle. I never got to see Mikey among the sailors aboard, but knowing that a recent Holy Savior Menard graduate was standing watch on that ship made the moment even more special. We are blessed to have many HSM graduates serving our country in every branch of the military. To Mikey and all of our alumni in uniform: thank you for your sacrifice, your commitment, and your service. May God protect you and bless each of you as you serve our nation.

Holy Savior Menard High School is seeking a creative, energetic, and faith-filled professional to serve as an Art Teacher with Graphic Design and Social Media responsibilities. This unique position combines classroom instruction with creative marketing and communications, offering an opportunity to inspire students while helping tell the story of our school.

Our baseball and softball campers knocked it out of the park on Day 2, while our robotics campers launched into an exciting first day of building, creating, and problem-solving.

Be Wise and Listen to Those Who Love You

Reflection: Sometimes our parents and close friends see warning flags before we do. You may have to lead your own life, but the insights of others can protect you from making foolish mistake in judgement.
Try to be more objective. Go for help.

Prayer: Lord, when a big decision is involved help me listen to good advice.

The next phase of our Eagle Excellence Project is underway! 🦅✨

Four gateway monuments were installed today, marking an exciting step forward for our campus. The bases will soon be surrounded in brick, and each monument will be beautifully lit. 💡

Designed to mirror the shape of our chapel, these monuments serve as a meaningful reminder to all who pass by of the central role our faith plays in everything we do. ⛪💚💛
