At Beth El ECLC we make sure to let the kids explore with a variety of materials. This includes having the kids engage with water! In the Llamas class the kids have been given this opportunity many times and they all enjoy getting to do this. They often have a water table to engage with that if full of water and many different toys/materials.

Engaging with different materials can be very beneficial to a young child's development. This allows kids to learn more about the world around them and better understand what is happening around them. If we allow kids to explore with many different materials, then these children will be better prepared to engage with the world around them.

At Beth El ECLC we want to ensure that the children have the best opportunities to further their development, and this is done in many ways!

At Beth El we love music! And we love making music in unconventional ways. You don't need instruments to make wonderful music. In the zebra's class the kids love making music with boxes and paper tubes. We encourage the kids to do this as it helps foster creativity and it even helps with their gross motor skills!

We are enjoying fall over here are Beth El! Our otters class is learning all about fall. Why do leaves fall? Why are leave brown in the winter? Why are leaves different shapes? They are learning so much!

Our zebras class is having so much fun learning many different things. One of the things they are working on is stacking and connecting blocks. This is great for the fine and gross motor skills as they have to focus on making the blocks connect in a stable way!

We have had so much fun learning about and celebrating the high holidays!

We are enjoying our last day of school. We had an amazing year and we are to thankful to everyone that made it such an awesome year!

Water play is more than having fun in the water. Stutend are give the opportunity to experiment and learn during water play. Most simply they are learning about water and how it moves! Water play is a great learning experience for our students!

We love to get messy! At Beth El we belive our students should have a hands on and sometimes messy experience. This can be an amazing way for the children to learn about the world and many different topics. Even when it’s fun activities such as playing with shaving cream the students are still learning.
