Don't forget! The LSUA Tutoring Center is open this summer. Professional tutor Josh offers face-to-face and online sessions in math and science, and professional tutor Catherine offers online sessions in writing.

Starting Now: Summer Hours at Bolton Library! 🌞

The LSUA Tutoring Center is open for the summer, May 12-Aug. 6! Virtual sessions and face-to-face sessions are available. For virtual appointments, scan the QR code and make an appointment. Meet with a tutor, via Microsoft Teams, in the comfort of your own home.
For face-to-face sessions, simply stop by the tutoring center (located downstairs in the Bolton Library). Appointments are not needed for face-to-face sessions.

The LSUA Tutoring Center enjoyed the end of the spring semester get-together. We celebrated our five graduates: Tanek, Bree, Sajida, Ethan, and Damian. Though our professional tutor Josh will remain with us through the summer, he will start a new career in August, so we also celebrated him. A good time was had by all!

LSU System President Wade Rousse has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Beard, Ph.D., as the next Chancellor of Louisiana State University of Alexandria, following a national search to identify the university’s new leader.

Beard currently serves as Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at LSUA and brings more than two decades of leadership experience in higher education.

The LSUA community looks forward to her leadership as the university continues its growth and commitment to student success.

Late Night tutoring is happening now. The LSUA Tutoring Center is open until 11:45pm!

The LSUA Tutoring Center is proud of peer tutors Sajida, Sacha, and Tanek who represented well at Scholar Day 2026!

Kick off final exam week the right way with a study session! Join the tutors for Late Night on April 30th! In addition to our regular hours, the LSUA Tutoring Center will stay open until 11:45pm.

We will also have our professional tutor, Josh, lead a workshop on Study Techniques at 6:00-7:00pm in the Rare Books Room (downstairs in the Bolton Library). Don't miss out on this opportunity!

The LSUA Tutoring Center held its 3rd annual Easter Eggs-Travaganza! Tutors and supplemental instructors enjoyed a fun-filled (and competitive) Easter egg hunt. Those who could not participate still enjoyed a bag of goodies.
