Congratulations to our ATCC SkillsUSA members!

Fifteen ATCC SkillsUSA competitors traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, to compete in the National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC), the nation's premier showcase of career and technical education.

The conference brought together more than 19,000 students, instructors, administrators, and industry partners from across the country. Throughout the week, students participated in competitions, explored career opportunities, attended professional development sessions, and built lasting connections with peers and industry leaders.

The top state champions competed in 115 skills and leadership contests, where ATCC students earned the following medals:

Gold
• Zackary Felger, Mora, MN - Motorcycle Service Technology

Silver
• Thomas Pietila, Menahga, MN and Isaiah Zink, Albany, MN - Mechatronics

Bronze
• Aidan Bauch, Clarissa, MN - Marine Service Technology
• Cindy Jensen, Comfrey, MN - Pin Design

In addition, 11 ATCC students earned Top 10 finishes and two participated in Leverage, SkillsUSA's leadership conference for state officer teams.

These accomplishments reflect the hard work, talent, and dedication of our students, along with the support of the faculty and advisors who help them succeed.

Congratulations to all of our SkillsUSA competitors—we're proud of everything you've accomplished!

Did you know?

ATCC has a pollinator garden that’s not only a beautiful amenity for students and employees, but also benefits our local environment!

Pollinator gardens provide essential habitats for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators that sustain our ecosystems.

Pollinators help over 75% of flowering plants and about one-third of the world’s food crops reproduce.

By planting native flowers and creating pollinator-friendly spaces, we support these vital species while adding beauty to our campus.

If you’re on campus, take a stroll along the habitat! It begins near the north parking lot and stretches all the way to Nokomis Street.

As a friendly reminder, please help us protect this space by refraining from cutting, digging, or otherwise disturbing the plants.

We're excited to welcome Brittany Mostue as an Assistant Coach for the ATCC Legends Volleyball program!

Originally from Barnesville, Minnesota, and an Alum of Minnesota State University Moorhead, Mostue has been involved in volleyball from a young age and brings five years of coaching experience from Infinity Volleyball Club in Fargo, ND. Through her involvement in the North Country Region High Performance program, she also served as both a Selection Camp Court Coach and a USAV Regional All-Star Team Coach.

"I'm excited to have Coach Brittany join the Legends volleyball team this fall,” said Head Coach Jason Smith. “I've spent some time on the sideline with her at High Performance and quickly found out that she is a great coach to have in your corner. She will bring a ton of knowledge and experience to the program, and a great personality to the gym environment."

Mostue shares that she is excited for the opportunity to begin this next chapter of her coaching career and looks forward to working alongside Head Coach Jason Smith while making a positive impact within the program and its student-athletes.

Please join us in welcoming Coach Mostue to the Legends family! We can't wait to see the experience, leadership, and enthusiasm she brings to the program this fall.
