Vikingland Flying Club Vikingland Flying Club is a low cost flying club located at the Alexandria Municipal Airport

Our rate structure:

-A one time, refundable buy-in of $2,500
-Monthly membership dues of $75
-A wet rate of $67/hour for airplane use (based on Hobbs time)

Big shout out and congratulations to new private pilot Gavin Hurst. Gavin WAS a student pilot in the the Vikingland Flying club and did all of his training in the Cessna 150. He is now our newest private pilot member. Excited to see where he goes next!

✈️ Vikingland Flying Club is looking to add a student member! Up until recently we only allowed private pilots to fly the plane. This could cut costs of obtaining a private pilots license nearly in half for the right person! Preference will be given to those who have soloed.

Cost is:
$2500 buy in for 1 share
$85/month dues
$67/hr wet

As we look forward to 2024 let’s make it our goal to fly more than we did last year. Together our club flew just under 200 hours in 2023, let’s try to get over that mark 2024.

We got the oil changed and wheel pants removed last night. Dirty bird is now ready for snow and wherever your winter adventures lead you. Thank you Alexandria Aviation Inc. for letting us do the work in a heated hangar, it made the process a whole lot more enjoyable. ✈️❄️🔧
