There's never a missed opportunity to explore colours and other aspects of early mathematics! It's easy to talk about the different aspects as we play.

🟣What colours, shapes, sizes, or weights is something?

🟣How far, fast, high, or low can something go?

🟣Is it over, under, beside or behind?

🟣Can you count this, tell me the colours, and can you stack and line these up?

We have birds in the trees!!! Can you see them???

Today, our little .carmens_classroom explorers filled up our bird feeder and bird bath (now that the temperature has risen enough not to freeze them both solid!)

We could hear the birds rustling, bustling, singing, and splashing!

We stood still as a statue to see if the birds would come out to eat or drink - and they did!!

How lucky are we that we have birds singing away and having a picnic at our preschool!

There's not much that will stop us from going out and getting some fresh air!
