LSUA will host its first Aviation Summer Camp for 9th-12th graders from June 15-19, 2026. Features include daily flight simulation lab, drone training, air traffic control tour, and a discovery flight with Gulf Coast Aviation. Thank you to the EAA Chapter 614 members and Damon (Air Traffic Controller of AEX) for coming, speaking, and pouring knowledge to young and upcoming pilots. Prospective students will have opportunities to talk to LSUA Aviation faculty members, Gulf Coast Aviation personnel, LSUA admissions staff, LSUA Financial Aid staff, and students currently enrolled in the Professional Aviation program.

Special Event Feature: a helicopter landing, courtesy of 1st Battalion, 5th Aviation Regiment, Fort Johnson, LA !!

Light refreshments will be provided.
