LSUA Professional Aviation

Join LSUA's Flying Generals for an aviation networking event from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, April 8, at The Outpost on the LSUA Campus. Incoming and current aviation students, along with the EAA 614 and the Ninety-Nines are all welcome! Food and drinks will be provided.

LSUA will host its first Aviation Summer Camp for 9th-12th graders from June 15-19, 2026. Features include daily flight simulation lab, drone training, air traffic control tour, and a discovery flight with Gulf Coast Aviation. Prospective students will have opportunities to talk to LSUA Aviation faculty members, Gulf Coast Aviation personnel, LSUA admissions staff, LSUA Financial Aid staff, and students currently enrolled in the Professional Aviation program.

Special Event Feature: a helicopter landing, courtesy of 1st Battalion, 5th Aviation Regiment, Fort Johnson, LA !!

Light refreshments will be provided.
