What a night! Our students had a BLAST at our Back to School Gleaux Dance! 🪩💃🏾🕺 A lot of dancing, the best music by the awesome DJ Tony Groove, fun glow sticks and an abundance of smiles! It was the perfect way to kick off the new school year! ✨ A HUGE thank you to our amazing PTO for sponsoring this fun-filled night and helping make it one our students won’t soon forget! We are so grateful for everything you do to make special memories for our students! It was definitely a night to GLEAUX, DANCE & SHINE!

Our Pre-K and Kindergarten students kicked off their staggered schedules this past week, and what a week it was! Their teachers have been busy helping them learn new routines, explore their classrooms, and find their way around their new school. From new faces to new places, our littlest learners are already settling in and getting ready for an amazing year! 📚✏️

🎒 Back to school means new teachers, new friends... and unfortunately, new germs. 🦠

As students head back to the classroom, it's common to see an increase in colds, sore throats, ear infections, stomach bugs, and other seasonal illnesses.

That's where the Rapides School-Based Health Center comes in!

With a signed parent consent, eligible students can be evaluated and treated for many common illnesses right at school, helping them get the care they need without a parent having to leave work or wait hours for an appointment. Parents are kept informed every step of the way.

💙💚📣 We want to give a special shoutout to our amazing cheerleaders! Thank you for going the extra mile Friday and today to make the first day of school extra special for our students! We know the first day can bring a few nerves and butterflies, but seeing your energy, enthusiasm, and BIG smiles created a welcoming and exciting start to the school year, and we are so grateful for the joy you brought to our campus! Thank you, Mustang Cheerleaders!

Today, we had the joy of welcoming our 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students back to campus! 🎉📚
There were so many smiles, hugs, and happy reunions throughout the day. It was clear that our students were excited to see their teachers, and our teachers were just as excited to see their students! 💙💚
We look forward to having all of our 1st-6th grade students together tomorrow!
