CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ALEXANDER CLASS OF 2024!

I held it together while I was there, but boy did I cry on the way home. I am so happy for each and every one of you.

13 years ago on this day, I was hired full time at Alexander Elementary. 5 years after that, I met the class that would change everything for me. My Mini Macs, the class of 2024, were my first class when I switched to 5th grade.

I had the privilege of teaching these incredible humans for a year. But, wow, look at what you have done since then! I am so proud of you, and so honored to have been a small part of your educational journey. The world is lucky to have this group of young men and women joining us in adulthood.

I love you my Mini Macs!! Go do BIG things! 💚💛

P.S. I have never felt as short as I do today next to these "kids" who are mostly taller than me now!
