We are very lucky to have Mr. Sims as our leader!!!!

During National Principals Month, we’re celebrating what it means to through the eyes of our principals.

For Donaven Sims, principal of Bethel Middle School, the campus is filled with memories and meaningful connections. Way to go Bethel fams!!! ☝️

🥜 3,421 jars of peanut butter—and a win over Benton! Way to go, Hornets! 💙

The annual Salt Bowl Peanut Butter Drive wrapped up at the end of September, and the final count is in. Bryant took the win in our annual contest with Benton, and our schools had some friendly competition of their own.

🏆 Bethel Middle School: 969 jars
🥈 Bryant Elementary: 965 jars
🥉 Springhill Elementary: 458 jars

Bethel claimed the top spot, edging out longtime champion Bryant Elementary by just four jars.

Thank you to the students, staff, families, and community members who donated. Your generosity helps stock our school food pantries and provides peanut butter for students facing food insecurity to take home each weekend.

Popsicles are separate from the testing incentive punch cards.

We are so proud of our Hornets for working hard and giving their best during testing! 💙

Students who earned points for being present and on time, bringing a charged iPad and headphones/adapters, and giving their best effort will get to celebrate with an EXTRA RECESS this Friday, 10/9! 🎉

And it gets even better… our amazing PTO will be there selling popsicles for $1!

💵 Popsicle reminder: Popsicles are separate from the punch cards, so students who would like to purchase one will need to bring $1 on Friday.
