Mr. Nebgen had the awesome opportunity to attend The LEAD Experience.
The LEAD Experience empowers teachers with a better understanding of the Texas FFA Foundation and encourages them to pursue their calling with excellence by showing them the appreciation they deserve. During the week-long LEAD Experience held in June, teachers travel over 1,000 miles to visit approximately 15 locations and hear from more than 50 presenters.

⚫️ Jacob Ellerbusch and Kaylee Hopkins from AHS who will be representing Aledo FFA after the chapter was named a 3-star national chapter (the highest rank a chapter can receive). Aledo FFA is also a national finalist in the Strengthening Agriculture division of the premier chapter award program.

The National Scholastic Press Association announced its Individual Achievement Award finalists Tuesday.

Senior Randi Mendolia was named a national Photo of the Year finalist in the sports feature category.

Last year‘s Ledoian yearbook editors, Faith Emmitte and Ava Bathurst, were also named Design of the Year finalists in yearbook theme development.

Winners will be announced in November at the JEA/NSPA Fall Convention in St. Louis.
