We are so excited to celebrate Mrs. Starks! She creates a learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and loved. Her dedication to her students, families, teammates, and the entire Walsh community makes such a positive impact each day!

The Houses are officially formed at Walsh!

Last Friday was such an exciting day for our Walsh Bearcats as we held our first House Meeting of the year!

Every student discovered which House they belong to and then gathered with their House for the very first time. Each House has its own color, name, mascot, and chant but they all share one important purpose: creating connection, belonging, school spirit, and community across Walsh!

One of the things we love the most about our House system is that it brings students together across grade levels and gives every Bearcat another place to belong. Throughout the year our Houses will learn together, celebrate together, encourage one another, and have plenty of fun along the way!

Hi Walsh Families,

Weā€™re heard from a few families who are still waiting to receive a welcome email from their teacher. If your family hasnā€™t received yours, please send me an email so I can help get things sorted out for you.

As we make the transition over to Skyward, there may be some bumps along the way. We know how special it is for our kids to find out who their teacher will be and we want to ensure that everyone gets that exciting experience!

Please congratulate Emily Fiesler on her new postion as Functional Academics Communications teacher!

Hi! My name is Emily Fiesler, and Iā€™m so excited to be the Functional Academics/Communications teacher at Walsh this year. I have worked with children for more than 20 years and have been at Walsh for the past two years. Iā€™m thrilled to begin this new role!

My husband and I have a 9-year-old son who will be in fourth grade. As a family, we love traveling, spending time at the beach, enjoying the outdoors, and cheering on our son at his baseball games. In my free time, I also enjoy yoga, Pilates, and making memories with my family.

I am so grateful to be part of the Walsh family and to continue serving our incredible students and their families. I canā€™t wait for an amazing school year!

Please join us in welcoming Narma Liyanage to our 1st Grade team!

Hello! My name is Narma, and I'm so excited to be teaching first grade this year at Walsh! Having been part of the Bearcat community for the past three years, I can't wait to continue supporting our wonderful school in this new role.

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy running, reading mystery thrillers, and spending time with my family. Running the Cowtown 5K is one of my favorite annual traditions!

I'm looking forward to an amazing year of learning, growing, and making wonderful memories with our Bearcats!
