Our 6th annual STARBOOKS was officially the best one yet!

6th grade wrapped up book projects with a day full of books, treats, cozy cafe vibes, and lots of reading fun. Watching our students enjoy the library completely transformed into STARBOOKS made all the work worth it.

A huge thank you to the parents who volunteered and to everyone who helped supply the decor, treats, and all the little details that made the day so special.

Year 6 was such a good one. STARBOOKS just keeps getting better!

Please join me in congratulating our students who earned a spot in the TMEA Region 30 All-Region Choirs!

This is a big accomplishment. More than 1,700 students auditioned across Region 30, and only about 20 percent were accepted into a choir. Aledo Middle School ranked 9th out of 51 schools for the number of students accepted.

Honor Treble Choir: Camryn Elliott, Lillian Ratliff, Addie Walker, AryAnnah Goodwin, Callie Gordon and Rowyn Schneider

Select Treble Choir: Sophia Cabral, Rachel Grabruck, Marlee Langford and Robena Barclay

Tenor-Bass Choir: Sean Mead and Carlos Moran Gonzalez

These students put in a lot of time and hard work to prepare, and it showed. When you see them, please tell them congratulations!

SEPTEMBER STAFF CELEBRATIONS!

We have TWO incredible Bearcats to celebrate this month!

Teacher of the Month: Coach Blasczienski
Coach Blasczienski does so much more than care for our athletes. His expertise, calm presence, and commitment to our students make a tremendous impact on AMS Athletics and our campus as a whole. Thank you for all that you do!

Staff Member of the Month: Karen Kirkland
Our cafeteria is at the heart of our campus, and Ms. Kirkland works hard every single day to make sure our students are taken care of. From keeping things running behind the scenes to leading the cafeteria team and serving hundreds of students each day, her work makes a HUGE difference in the AMS experience.

A special THANK YOU to our September Teacher and Staff Member of the Month sponsors, Brookshire'sWillow Park/Aledo and Myser Orthodontics, for helping us celebrate and recognize the incredible people who make AMS special! Your support of our staff and campus means so much to us!

Help us give BIG Bearcat congratulations to both of our September honorees!
