L'Abris Academy

L'Abris Academy Founded in 2007 - L'Abris Academy (pronounced (la - BREE)) is a Christian private school serving students K-12 via remote learning, based in Aledo, Illinois.

The French word L’Abris means shelter, refuge, security or shield. L'Abris Academy Social Media Participation Guidelines:

“Every year the day after thanksgiving we start our Christmas traditions! The first one is putting up the tree! This is one of Delainee’s favorite things to do. She has pretty much taken over the task.

“Every Christmas morning we go to my daughter's to watch the little boys open their gifts. Jack (far right) and Eli (in blue) and Michael (with back to camera) all go to L'Abris.

Jack has been at L’Abris since 7th grade, he’s now a senior this year!

“Then we head to grandma's for Christmas dinner and the rest of the immediate family. The best part of Christmas is getting to spend it with your loved ones,” said Diane Unsworth.

At L’Abris Academy we work in partnership with you to create educational goals tailored to your child - right where they are.

We believe parents should be in control of their child's education - which includes the environment in which your child learns.

Online students are accepted all throughout the year!

-Daily mentoring
-Access to a teacher to help with any questions you or your student may have
-If your student falls behind in assignments, you will receive an email letting you know exactly what subject your student needs to work on to catch up
-We do all the administrative work so that you, the parent, can be in control of your child's education and social exposure
